ONLINE SUBSCRIPTION LESSONS

 

What is your cancellation policy for your monthly/yearly subscription lessons?

We're sad to see you go, but totally understand. 

 

MONTHLY SUBSCRIBERS: If you have subscribed to our monthly subscription, just cancel before the start of your new "month" (cycle). If you're having trouble, please contact us immediately as there are no refunds for our monthly subscription. 

 

YEARLY SUBSCRIBERS: If you have subscribed to our yearly subscription, cancel anytime before the start of your new "year" (cycle). If you're having trouble, please contact us prior to the start of the next billing cycle. If you cancel within the first month of the next billing cycle, you will be charged a 20% cancellation fee and will receive an 80% refund of the yearly fee. However, if the Skype lesson offered with all yearly subscriptions is used within the first month of the new year's subscription (new billing cycle), no refund will be given. Any cancellations after the first month forfeits a refund.

 

 

ONLINE ONE-TO-ONE SKYPE LESSONS


What online meeting platform do I need for our online one-to-one lesson?
Skype or Zoom

Could we use Google Meets or Facetime instead?
I prefer to use Skype or Zoom, as the audio tends to work better with my interface studio set up. Other platforms tend to put all computer audio into one channel making for at best, poor audio quality. Sounds like playing music on a cell phone.
 

What time zone are you in?

We’re in the HST zone (Hawaii Standard Time). 

Please note that Hawaii is not affected by daylight savings time so when it switches, the times would shift an hour. And HST is not the same as Pacific Standard Time. 

What is your cancellation policy for Skype lessons?

We know things happen. So, if for any reason you must cancel, please notify us 24 hours prior to your scheduled lesson. This gives us time to make the time slot available to others who are wanting to schedule a lesson. For any cancellations made less than 24 hours, you will be charged the full cost of the lesson. 

 

I can’t make my lesson, can I reschedule?

Yes, of course! But please notify us 24 hours prior to your scheduled lesson. This gives us time to make the time slot available to others who are wanting to schedule a lesson. For any requests made less than 24 hours, you will be charged the full cost of the lesson and you will need to schedule another lesson. 

 

Ah man, I missed my lesson! Can I reschedule?

Sorry, we can’t reschedule. Since I was reserving that time slot for the lesson and wasn’t able to open it for others, you will be charged the full cost of the lesson. But we can set up another lesson for you that better fits your schedule. 


IN-PERSON LESSONS

I live on Oahu. Do you do in-person lessons?

Unfortunately, I don’t have a teaching studio. However, sometimes exceptions are made and I may be available to do lessons 1-2 hour lessons ($75/hour or $135/two-hour lessons, plus any added parking fees)
